Back to it...

Have you noticed that my posts haven't been, well, normal lately? I really want to get back to how it was.

But I haven't a clue what to write about....

Soooo. I guess I'm going to have to just randomly open my bible!

Awesome....never read this before. Luke 11. God apparently wants to get the word out about prayer!

Luke 11: 24

"He (Jesus) said to them, When you pray, say:
Father
Hallowed be your name
Your kingdom come
Give us each our daily bread
Forgive our sins
For we also forgive everyone who sin against us
And lead us not into temptation'

I learned this a bit differently. But since God wants us to say this in particular, I would reccomend writing it down somewhere to read. Soon you'll have it memorized!

I also like Luke 11: 9

'So I say to you: Ask and it will be given; seek and you will find; knock on the door and it will be opened to you.'

Wow. I didn't think of it like that before. God is making a HUGE promise right there! He is saying that WHATEVER you ask, he will grant. ANYTHING. Even if whatever you pray about doesn't happen at the 'right' time/ place, it will happen! Because, I mean, I guess I was thinking that people who were losing jobs weren't getting them back...but maybe they just weren't praying for it. And maybe no one was praying for them. This is where the importance of praying for others comes in. If you ask he will comply! I know you might also be thinking, 'I prayed that someone wouldn't die and they did.' ' I prayed that someone's cancer would go away and they died from it.' Well, did they really die? (eternal life) And after they die, they are now free of sickness! So see, as I said before, even if it doesn't happen in the 'right' way, it will happen!

Did this change your perspective?

I know it sounds a bit weird that I didn't read this before writing it, but God gives me the words! He works in such AWESOME ways!

luvs,
Faith

More random thoughts...

Those kittens are cute. But VERY messy!

But anyways.... IT'S BIBLE TIME!!! WOOOOO!!

Okay, so how many times to we pray and whatever we asked for happened?

For some of us, a lot.

And when this happened, we all immeadiatly thanked him, right?

'Uh, um, right, well, sometimes....'

Is this your reaction? I feel REALLY bad for God, he gives us everything, and we usually forget to thank him for it!

We are sooo sad.

I thought of this while doing back walkovers... nice, huh?

Ohh, do you like my new widget? It tells you who's going on the blog.....

So cool!!

Today....

I'm not going to say a word about the bible today. Today I'm going to talk about.... well, today!

First I went to the gym for two hours. Ick....but then my mom picked me up and we went and got lunch.....and then we got two 7 week old kittens! And I said that I liked the names Toby and Macy....and my mom did too. So then we got home and let them loose. Oh my goodness, our mastiff (dog) Piper, tried to eat them! And then we couldn't find Toby for the longest time.... and then we had dinner with my mom's friend.

And I saw Tuyetson (and Austin...and Natalie B....and Amanda S....) at the gym! Yay!

Oh, and I got no emails/ comments and only one person updated their blog (other than moi!)

Ooh, wow...

That 'Ooh wow...' I just wrote?
It is not a good one. Because according to what I just read a LOT of people are breaking one of the ten commandments.

Matthew 5: 31-32

"It has been said.'Anyone who divorces his wife must give her a certificate of divorce. But I will tell you that anyone who divorces his wife, except for marital unfaithfulness, causes her to become an adulteress, and anyone who marries the divorced woman commits adultery."
Oh, ick! Adultery is what the ten commandments say NOT to commit! You know how many people get divorced every year? And remarried? God wants you to choose the right one. One that you can be with for eternity.

Do wedding vows mean nothing anymore?

Well, anyways, prayer requests can go to faitherz@gmail.com.

And also, I really reccomend tithing. (We learned this at church) The bible tells us to. He even said he would bless those who tithed. Do you know how much you are supposed to tithe? Since tithe means tenth you have to move the decimal point over.... so lets say you make 3,000 dollars.

3000.00
move the decimal point to the left one...
300.000
so 300 hundred....

You get to keep 2700.00, which isn't that bad. Unless it has to be all about you.

I know this may seem like a lot to lose, but the bible tells us to, and you also get blessed. It's a good deal. And imagine how much money the churches would have if everyone tithed...

wow.

Much love.....

Clarifications...

Okay, my head is now clear. How good that feels!

Okay, just a clarification, I'm not fearful of god, like some people are fearful of spiders. I am more fearful of how he makes decisions. I'm scared that maybe I've done something that's going to put me in for eternal doom. I'm scared of what he's going to do next. I'm not scared of him personally. Just his thoughts.

And I also feel like if I weren't a little scared of him, I would feel like too much of an equal. And I wouldn't want someone who is as powerless as me to be my protecter.

Hope that clarified

Hmmmm....

Guess what? Today I got those awesome little tabs for my bible! They are so cool!

Anyways.......today I'm going to talk about part of Revelations....

Revelations 22: 7 Behold, I am coming soon! Blessed is he who keeps the prophecy in this book.

Wait a sec...have I not talked about the rapture yet?!? Oh my goodness! How could I have missed that??

If you don't know what the rapture is, let me put it like this. God is going to take his people up to heaven, and leave everyone else behind for seven years of torture.

God's people are the believers. You wouldn't want to get left behind, would you? Torture....earthquakes, plagues, darkening of the stars, death, attacks, world domination.I'd rather get taken the FIRST time. Read the Left Behind series for more info. They are amazing books you just can't put down.

Anyways, back to Revelations verses...

Nope, never mind. Here's a question, are you scared of God? I am. I mean, he has control over my eternity. If he felt so inclined, he could zap the world with a lightning bolt right this second. He could do anything! But that doesn't make me love him any less. No, I love him more.

Just some stuff to think about... sorry I'm having trouble focusing tonight...

You know what....

I don't even need the challenge. Go through with it if you want to, but eh, whatever. I have a new mission that I'm working on with a good friend, one that I am sooooo excited about!

But going along with the theme here, I am just going to type some of the random verses I've memorized....

Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.

Can you imagine how empty everything was? One thing I'm going to ask God is "Where did you come from?" Apparently he wasn't born....I don't know, and I'm guessing what he'll say is something like, "I've always been here."

John 3: 16, For god so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, and whoever believes in him shall not perish, but have eternal life.

<3

John 3: 30 He must become greater, I must become less.

Exactly what it says!

Now, remember, I'm doing these from memory...

John 14: 1-4

Let not your hearts be troubled. Trust in God, and trust also in me. In my father's house are many rooms, if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you. If I go and prepare a place for you I will return and take you with me, that you may also be where I am. You know the way to the place I am going.

I think that's right (mostly). For comments, see two or three posts ago.

And then, I'm not sure WHERE this is, but it's

For where your treasure is there your heart will be also.

Heaven! oh, I just looked it up....I was thinking Mark, but I have it marked (haha) in Matthew. 6: 21.

Wow, I need to memorize more. Like, I know them, but not word for word. I know John the best. hmmmmm....what should I memorize this week....hmmm. I think I'll do Romans 2: 1. It's about being hypocritical (which I can be...) Romans has a unique style....I think I like it.

The challenge...

So with this blog I am trying to reach certain people (non-believers). And I also want others to read it so they can comment, ask questions, and above all understand.

Whch is why I put out "the challenge".
But of course, no one's going to actually do it. Which frustrates me because the entire point is to HELP people. But when people get emails from me that have the words dazeoffriendz.blogspot.com, they totally ignore the rest of the email.

I want you/ others to understand WHY I'm writing this. THIS is what God wants me to be doing. That is why I need this to SPREAD. I want to share my joy, take people to heaven. Keep them away from a fiery hole of death. THIS is what I want. I don't want to be obnoxious, I just want to HELP.

Apparantly I'm frustrated. But I don't like to be ignored.

Coping....

Me & God

I can't see you
But you see me
Lord, I love you
And you love me
Talk about you
As you help me
Find more for you
To save along with me
Lord, I love you
And you love me
As I praise you
You uplift me
I can trust in you
The holy spirit in me
Lord, I love you
And you love me

This could be your story.
It only requires trust, faith, love.
But one of these lines is true for everyone.

Lord, I love you
*-And you love me-*

He still loves you, no matter what. No matter how much you turn away from him, he will always accept you back. Forgive and forget, that's what he does. Turn to him right now after telling your friends and family how much you hate him/ don't believe in him. Doesn't matter. As long as you are true, if you are he'll see it in your heart.

Lord, I love you
And you love me

JjoOHhnN 14: 1-4 <3

Okay have you read the book of John? If you haven't you really should, because it's really good! (Hee hee! I rhymed!)

Okay, so here is John 14: 1-4 (according to my special pink bible with my name on it....)

And I know that sometimes people SKIP the bible verses....but actually read this one...you won't regret it!

This is called "Jesus comforts his disciples...."

"Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in god, and trust also in me. In my fathers house are many rooms, if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you. And if I go there to prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me (so) that you also may be where I am. You know the way to the place where I am going."
<33333
Now let me break it down into simpler terms.

"Let not your hearts be troubled."

Those six words just comfort me. I hear them as " Hey! You! Don't be scared! I'm here for you!"

"Trust in God and trust also in me."

Trust in both. That's as simple as it gets. Because technically they are the same. One is just tangible.

" In my Father's house are many rooms, if it were not so, I would not have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you."

Oh my goodness! We get to live in God's AMAZING house for eternity!!! I am so excited!!! It must be beautiful! And we don't have to really 'pay' anything! Jesus already paid our 'rent'! Yay! You know what also just hit me? He is also kind of saying, 'I am going to die and go to heaven as a 'sacrifice' (don't like the wording) for you, and make CERTAIN that my father has room for YOU. I am going there making sure your sins will be forgiven, so he won't destroy mankind.'
That was DREADFUL wording, but I think you get my point....

"And if I go there and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me (so) that you also may be where I am."

He's going to be back!

"You know the way to the place where I am going"

It's in your heart.<3

My favorites: verses...

Tomorrow I'm talking about John 14: 1-4. Make sure you read it! (It's one of my favorite parts of the bible!!!!!!!!) But if you didn't read about Noah yet, scroll down and read that while you're waiting.

Rainbowssss...

What's your definition of a rainbow?

I'm asking this completely seriously. Do you think it's light refracted off of water when it hits a certain angle or something? That's how I used to see it too. But a reading of the bible and *BANG!*, my perspective changes. Now before I tell you what the rainbow symbolizes, let me start off with the story of Noah.

Hey, don't moan & groan! I know you've heard this like a million times but bear with me!

Okay so once upon a time mankind was completely, over the top-ly, indescribably vile. Sinful people they were. These people were to the extremes of sinful! Ickkk.....

Guess who didn't like that?

You guessed it, God didn't like it at ALL.

So he got this idea in his head. He was like look, these people are BAD. Other than Noah and his family, these people that I made, they fail.

No, they EPIC fail.

So he went to Noah and he was like, Noah, I'm sending a flood to wipe out the earth and mankind (imagine Noah's expression here!),so you probably want to build an ark. Bring your wife, sons, and son's wives. Oh yeah, and male and female pairs of every animal. And food. LOTS of food!

So Noah builds the ark, gets everything together, and God sends the flood. So Noah, the animals, and his family are all on the ark for about a year and then he sends out a dove, who returns with a freshly plucked olive leaf. Then they knew that the ground was dry, waited seven days, and got off.

This is where the rainbow comes in (yay!).

Afterwards God said to Noah: "Never again will the waters become a flood to destroy all life. Whenever the rainbow appears in the clouds, I will see it and remember the everlasting covenant between God and all living creatures of every kind on the earth."

Rainbows are AWESOME!

Oh, and I know I said I was going to talk about something different today, but I think I'll wait for the Jesus = Messiah thing. I think first I'll talk about some cool verses and stories.

The rest of the simple rules.....

Continuing...

#4: "Remember the Sabbath day by keeping it holy. Six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is a Sabbath to the Lord your god. On it you shall not do any work, neither you, nor your son or daughter, nor your manservant or maidservant, nor your animals, nor the alien within your gates. For in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, but he rested on the seventh day. Therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and made it holy."

How is this hard? It's basically telling us to have a day of relaxation to think about God and go to church. How easy is that?

#5: "Honor your father and your mother, so that you may live long in the land the Lord your God is giving you."

Respect our parents, and live amazing, long lives in heaven. Simple! If we do that one little thing by respecting our parents, he gives us life! How cool is that? It's a bargain!

#6: "You shall not murder."

Again, very easy. I don't even know why people murder. It's just so...dumb. He wants us to protect human life, not destroy it.

#7: "You shall not commit adultery."

If our world wasn't so terribly filled with sin, this would be easy. But we give into the devil so easily. If you don't know what this means let's put it as this. Be true to husband or wife. Don't have kids until after you're married!

#8: "You shall not steal."

Get something for yourself. Don't just take the easy way out and steal from somebody else!

#9: "You shall not give false testimony against your neighbor."

Don't lie about others. Don't gossip. Just be an honest person, like you've been learning about since preschool.

#10: " You shall not covet your neighbor's house. You shall not covet your neighbor's wife, or his manservant or maidservant, his ox or donkey, or anything that belongs to your neighbor."

What you have is good enough. God gave you all that you needed. Enjoy it!

Simple rules....

So, I said two posts ago that I was going to talk about the ten commandments. For some reason, I feel a strong need to discuss how simple the rules he gave us are....

So if you have a bible, the place to find the commandments are in Exodus 20 3-17...

Done flipping? I'm just going to go through them in order.

#1: "You shall have no other gods before me."

Wow, how terribly hard. Seriously, thats so easy! Just put him before all others/ everything! Share with him everything first, and be careful with how you trust others. My bible refers to this as 'trusting god only' and says that you can obey this by 'praying about your needs'.

#2: "You shall not make for yourself an idol in the form of anything in heaven above or in the earth beneath or in the waters below. You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous god, punishing the children for the sin of the fathers to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me, but showing love to a thousand generations of those who love me and keep my commandments."

God, is jealous, and he would not want you to worship anyone or anything other than him. That's it. He needs to be your only one. Only worship him. Have him as the only one you thank and praise.

#3: "You shall not misuse the name of the Lord your God, for the Lord will not hold anyone guiltless who misuses his name."

Just use his name respectfully! It's common courtesy! Don't swear with his name! Imagine how you would feel if someone swore with your name! Goodness & Gosh people, let's use Goodness & Gosh!

Now my blog is saying that I've typed to much, so wait for my next entry on commandments 4-10.

luvs

*CoNtInuInG.......*

I must continue what I started earlier.

So, what's the risk of being Christian? Is there really any? Other than having others not always accept that fact and having the devil mad, there really aren't any. I mean, you get loved, and you love others. That's how I see it. Is that really so bad? It just tortures me to think that some people choose to be atheist just because of their parents. Just read a little bit of the bible, and you will automatically feel love! (or that could just be me.....)

If you do not know Jesus, please keep reading this blog and give him a chance. That's all that is asked of you, a chance.

If you are christian and know someone who is atheist, or any non-jesus people, please tell them to read a couple of entries from here and talk to them. Because if not, they may just die and walk into a lake of fire.

You could be the one person who helps them into an amazing place for eternity. That's the best gift you could EVER give someone.

And I'm not sure if telling your friend to read this blog would work at all....so make sure you tell them to scroll to the bottom and read up, to help them feel more comfortable.

*Thing to think about: Three friends who, if you do not step in, might be tortured for eternity. Can you help? How?*

Major changes.....

As you can tell if you are looking at my blog at this moment, there are some BIG changes. If you are not looking, go look. The website's url will stay the same, despite the new title. But now I'm going to give my opinion on things along with my randomness, rather than be completely random.

So today I went to church. If you've never been to church before you should come with me one Sunday. Anyways, we were having service and the question pops up: " What's more important than eternity?"

In my opinion, nothing!

The choice is yours, either live life for no reason, and then die and be alone forever, or live to collect people, so that when you go to heaven they will be there!

Again, your choice!

If I had more time I would go into more detail. Maybe later.
